Fistful of Dollars (free) 03:31
[Verse 1] I’ve got a fistful of dollars and a pocket full of shells/ with a mind full of something only sold by cartels/ (Too dope) dope boy like I’m Meka/ So face my way when I hit the stage and pray for the reign/ Since a child, knew I had to pull the stops (no break cables)/ drop all the rap Hollywood major label fables/ independent to death, I only know to DIY/ to do it any other way isn’t inside my/ high caliber, blow your mind, rock-solid like excaliber/ and all that tough talk’s invalid, cuz/ I only know to fight and seen the light/ and if you’ve only seen me nice… you ain’t been lookin right, I’m cold as ice// [Verse 2] I’m freefallin’ off of the edge (razor under tongue)/ goin over their heads (and livin’ under the gun)/ choking on the smoke til it settles and the sun sets/ showdown at the break of dawn and breaking cold sweats/ Only guarantee is death and taxes, turn on the tube/ all that’s guaranteed is sex and whack shit, that’s in the news/ so I suggest we shoot the sheriff AND the deputy/ and sneak out the back while the town is playing anarchy/ back then… I was the man with no name/ now when you say it (no needles) never say it in vein/ I like the pheromones out of my brain and let you touch my psyche/ it’s rough, you’ll get a kick out of it like it’s Nike/ and trust no man and no number/ you trusted the one that’s on your life cell (no wonder)/ so if you ever go under, treat it like your dream date and eat ya, eat ya way out (hold back no thunder)//
4.
Break It Up 04:06
[Verse 1] Mic check 1,2, soundbombin it/ like I’m Rawkus in the later 90’s, so prominent/ stay dominant like a seventh chord, with no strings attached/ they boy’s from the backstreets so please relax/ or get ya caps peeled like I’m native to the flats, flat-lined/ you couldn’t be a player if you had a tech nine, so respect mine/ don’t expect my decline, NOFX on my lines/ since hip hop became so safe/ swapped the round-tipped scissors with serrated blades/ in the cut for days/ and won’t stop til I get my wage/ for killin’ shit, ‘cause I heard crime pays/ no slave to the majors, “mmm, what ya savor?”/ the sweet taste of victory like a now-and-later/ Now I’m gone, “see you later”/ only started with a little gold and a pager, but so much flavor/ hey bruh, you ever seen a punk rock hip hop?/ drop a “hey, ho! Let’s Go!” “and it don’t stop”/ drop a needle on a record, spit a flow to be reckoned/ from a two-step to a mosh pit any second/ I don’t work, then I don’t eat/ that’s why I think Black Thoughts like I’m Tariq/ and break padlocks when I’m zonin’/ watch ya back when you’re at the stairway to heaven, the omen// [Hook] You’ve got the hate face on, I hear the same damn song, Anytime when you’re around, it’s all bullshit/ I’m not playin’ with you, Please don’t say you’re confused, When I see you with your hand by the radio, I might lose it (break it up, break it up, break it up)// [Verse 2] (This is not a love song)/ it’s fueled by football and beer pong and might catch fire if a tear’s on it/ (this is not a club song)/ closer to a scene from teeth, so try to grind to it, hear the screech?/ now that’s what I call blood on the dance floor/ and have the cat wipe it up with his own jansport/ understand that my car is my temple/ if you want to play that bullshit, ride in a rental/ we on that boom bap to bomb the system/ like Marcus Garvey with paint and ink pens/ I’m Banksy in the vocal booth and bang the shit that’ll tell the truth/ or say “fuck it” and put on some Foo/ it gets rugged when we bump some Wu/ and just laugh when the cops come through/ play Ante Up, I’m unstoppable/ trust me, yea, it’s that simple/ you ain’t finna hear Alejandro/ comin through my window/ I ain’t tryin’ to impress a chick by playin Taylor Swifts’ latest hits/ matter of fact, if you even think of tryin to change my shit/ I’ll leave you and ya I-Pod out in the Sticks// [Hook]

Sew It Seams 03:55
[Verse One] Her voice is the theme music to my dream sequences/ pounding my heartbeat between frequencies/ Leaking these thoughts to my half-full glass, so/ maybe I won’t come off as such an asshole/ Her body speaks like an aria the way she moves/ but sets the tempo too slow for my impatient tune/ kind like she shouldn’t have the limelight/ if my eyes were spotlights, I’d just stand behind like…wow/ …and her lips are the melody/ hoping I can harmonize and rock the beat steadily/ Maybe it’s not cliche to say heavenly/ I say that it’s healthy we have dissonance or jealousy/ She took a sample of my soul, no felony/ I just hope she mentions me at her next press release/ And I’ll hit the right spot to make her pause/ then press play, just to hear the “ooh“‘s and the “ah“‘s// [Chorus] Baby you’re a star/ You don’t have to tell them who you are/ and I’m not even worried, you’re too far/ But I would still reach out and let your voice cut right through me/ so it seams// [Verse Two] At Times, I can barely speak around you/ my notes turn accidental, suppose I lack the mental/ capacity, or your tune’s so mellow, I just lack the reason/ you make me instrumental/ my acapella’s speechless/ We met inside a composer’s mind, I swear my composure’s fine/ You closed your eyes and I made you mine/ and it was spine tingling, like a ringtone/ calling up my soul, only put on hold when I hold you, it’s so true/ I told you in the booth that I’d be superman, if it ever falls through/ I’ll take a little time off just to pay dues/ this can be our new song, we can have a new life/ something like a concept album, for you, right?/ nothing like the nonsense outcome of new strife/ But I’ll just hum your body’s tune for tonight/ …….if it’s alright// [Verse Three] You are the FINEST sonata that I’ve ever heard…/ you leave my hanging on every word/ Every syllable is tinged by the soul of a tortured artist/ yet your voice is so reassured/ your lyrics bring hope to me, that is NOT easy/ and it’s all fun and games until your duet needs me/ ……I need a second to breathe/ I need to signal intermission for a second to leave/ I’ve got a trick up my sleeve, to not crack before the show’s done/ I don’t love you like a love song, but like the only one/ I want still playing after my credit roll has run…just to cue the bonus scene/ which is the music video, featuring you and me/ In a consequent embrace that’s so serene/ the audience gives a standing “Oh!”/ (standing Ovation) and burns the screen/ …to see us going up in smoke, you know what I mean?// ….and scream until the sheet music tears or sew it seems// (So it Seems)

about

I started working on this album roughly about February 2011 and finished it January 2012.
The album deals with being alive... I mean, really alive, through the themes of political/social awareness, love/loss, accepting who you are/what you can be and what I believe to be most important, keeping your sense of humor, no matter what adversity you go through.
Blah, blah, big words, blah, heavy themes, blah, yeaaa or ignore this bullshit and hopefully you'll enjoy the album!
I'm offering this project for free, but I also put a lot of work into it, so any donation would be much appreciated.
